ellagee Three Years Of Sparkle Collection

Hello doll faces!  This is a fantastic and HUGE post so I am literally going to dive right in with all the info you need.  First off, if you haven't seen the other blogs yet then let me tell you now...Laura from ellagee created a blogger collaboration collection.  9 custom shades created by bloggers to help her celebrate her 3rd year of creating glitter and happiness for us polish fiends.  This collection is full of gorgeous colors and finishes for all to enjoy.  I'm talking holo, holo micro glitter, ultra chrome flakies, crelly, shimmer, jelly, ahhhh so much goodness!  So now on to what you need to know; the  Three Years Of Sparkle launches tomorrow (3/30) and will be $108 for the full set of 10 polishes.  Of course you can pick these up individually also.  So let's jump in and I'll tell you a little about each polish!

I started with Sutraa-lescent created by Color Sutraa.  This is a gorgeous clear base packed with iridescent shimmer and mini flakes, clear holo/iridescent micro glitter and spectra flair!  Ooooh lawdy that's a lot of sparkly goodness!  I used 2 coats of Sutraa-lescent over a pink and blue creme (I wanted you to see it over a couple colors!).  Formula and application were great!  I finished with topcoat.

This is ellamcgee, a stunning medium blue-grey jelly with green/aqua and purple/blue translucent chameleon flakies and silver holo.  This beauty was imagined up by McPolish!  I totes love it.  Very unique color (I'm pretty sure i have no grey jellies) and finish.  Formula and application were fab.  Used 2 coats of ellamcgee and a layer of topcoat.

Suger23 is my kind of gal!  Holo 4 eva!  This is Suger, Suger, How'd You Get So Fly? (you're singing the song in your head now aren't you?).  It's a medium toned nude scattered holo with blue/violet/copper ultra chrome flakies and hot pink shimmer.  Breath taking.  Formula and application were top notch.  I used 2 coats for full coverage and a layer of topcoat.

This is my polish!!!!  It's Drunk On The Good Life and it's a pink (ver so slightly coral) crelly with rainbow ultra chrome flakies and silver holo micro glitter.  It's a fun spring to summer shade and the flakes and holo give it a nice focal point.  Formula and application were aces.  I used 2 coats for full coverage (I love full coverage crellies) and a layer of topcoat.

Another fabulous pink in the collection is Pink Me! by I Feel Polished.  It's clear base literally packed with shades of pink and silver micro glitter.  This reminds me a lot of the "Jeweled" polishes and could easily be a sister to those.  It also applies just like them, easily and fantastic glitter payoff.  Full coverage in 3 thin coats.  I finished with topcoat.

Plum Foolery was the creation thought up by Cosmetic Sanctuary.  It's a red-violet jelly with scattered holo and hot pink mini flakes.  This is a real beauty!  And it had a pretty awesome formula too!  Application was nice and easy and I got great color payoff in 3 coats.  I finished with topcoat.

Hey hey!  Here are the blues!  This is Sea Of Tranquility by Jedi Wife.  This looker is a bright turquoise jelly with translucent green mini flakes and copper micro flakes.  I want jewelry that looks like this!  As you can see it is a bit on the sheer side, ohhai there nail line.  But it doesn't distract from the beauty of the polish at all.  I used 3 coats and a layer of topcoat.

Teal The Fat Lady Sings is a superb teal jelly with a blend a teal, blue and green micro glitter and bright purple shimmer.  This was created by Plump And Polished. I was a fan of the glitter density in the jelly base, really give you nice coverage and ultimate sparkliness.  Formula and application were great.  I used 2 coats and a layer of topcoat.

The last blue in the collection is A Little Bit Of Monica by Monismani.  This is a deep blue jelly with green/gold/fuchsia ultra chrome flakies and a touch of silver holo micro glitter.  Fantastic!  Looks like a twinkling night sky - at least the kind of sky I'd want to look at.  Formula and application were ab.  I used 3 coats to reach the most opaqueness and color depth.  I finished with topcoat.

And the piece de resistance...Three Years Of Sparkle!  This is the beauty that Laura came up with to round out the collection and to celebrate her 3rd year creating polish!  Yay, CONGRATS LAURA!  This beauty is a ruby pink jelly with tons of hot pink/violet shifting iridescent micro flakes and flashes of gold.  Super vibrant, super sparkly, super every one needs it!  I used 3 coats and topcoat.
